Spinach is one of the healthiest foods around and has been listed as one of the top ‘Superfoods’ in various studies and publications. It is an edible flowering plant native to Asia.

It is great in salads, steamed, in stir fry’s, or added to soups or stews. Or there is the classic favorite, spinach dip!

There is a long list of nutritional benefits of spinach including folate, potassium, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids. It is also a good source of vitamins A, C, B6, B2, K and the antioxidants copper, zinc, and vitamin E. (WH Foods)
